Day 1 Summary – CoreComm Solar Boat Challenge
The first day of the CoreComm Solar Boat Challenge 2025 in Balatonalmádi delivered thrilling races and exciting moments on Lake Balaton.
The Slalom Race opened the competition, where teams had to showcase their precision and maneuvering skills by navigating through a series of buoys. Morning conditions were cloudy and windy, making the race especially challenging, but as the day progressed, the sun broke through, offering beautiful weather for the final runs.
The scheduled Time Trial in the afternoon had to be cancelled due to strong winds, so the results of the Slalom Race currently define the official standings of the competition.
