Today was the official start of the CoreComm – University of Pannonia – Balatonalmádi Solar Boat Challenge. On the first day of the solar boat competition, the teams had to prove their readiness in two events, a time trial and a slalom, testing both the technical capabilities of the boats and the skill of the teams.

At the end of an exciting day of racing, the Sunflare Solarteam came out on top with a confident performance to take first place by just 3 points. The University of Pannonia Solar Boat Team, although currently in 7th place, is looking forward to the rest of the weekend with great opportunities.

The event will run until Sunday evening, and is still open to anyone interested in sustainability and innovation. The Solar Boat Challenge is an excellent opportunity for visitors to gain an insight into the world of future boating, where eco-friendly solutions are at the forefront.
