Day 2 of the Balaton Solar Boat Challenge concluded with a flourish, leaving a trail of impressive accomplishments and nail-biting competitions. The Endurance race saw three exceptional teams—Whisper Power Solar team, Spectrum Solar team, and HVHL Adres Sonnebootteam—each completing an impressive 61.1 kilometers. In a display of sheer speed and strategy, Spectrum Solar team clinched the victory, covering the distance in a remarkable 4 hours and 4 minutes.

The Top Speed race unfolded with a burst of adrenaline, as boats sped across the waters of Lake Balaton. Whisper Power Solar team reaffirmed their dominance, surging ahead with a staggering 40.5 kmph, leaving their mark as the swiftest contenders. Dutch Solar Boat team followed suit, securing the second spot with 35.1 kmph, while Team Emden clinched the third position, clocking in at 31.1 kmph.

As the dust settled on the day’s races, the overall standings bore testament to the consistency and skill of the teams. Whisper Power Solar team held firm at the top with a total of 10 points, a testament to their well-rounded performance. The Spectrum Solar team closely trailed with 12 points, showcasing their mettle across the challenges. HVHL Adres Sonnebootteam maintained a strong presence, securing the third spot with 24 points, underscoring their commitment to excellence.
